👉Robert lee Frost was an American poet. His work was initially published in England before it was 

published in the United States.

👉Robert Frost Father was a teacher and later and editor of the San Francisco  evening Bulletin, his father died on 5 may 1885.

👉 Robert Frost mother Isabelle Moodie, a Scotttish immigrant, was a teacher.

👉Robert Father wanted to name his son after General Lee, but his mother was a poetess. So she wanted to name her son Robert Burns the greatest poet of Scotland so as a compromise the son was named "Robert Lee Frost".

👉In1894 he sold his first poem," My Butterfly. An Elegy "(Published in the 8 November  1894, edition of the New York Independent ) for $15 ($443 today ).

👉In 1895 Frost proposed Elinor Miriam White for marriage but she refused because she want to complete her graduation before they married. Having graduated she agreed and they were married at Lawrence, Massachusetts on 19 December 1895.

👉Elinor and Robert Frost had six children out of six only one daughter Lesley survived.

👉Frost attended Harvard University From 1897 to 1899, but he left due to illness.
